Notorious V blogs on Learning to Masterbate…

Al at BiJourney just posted a story about how he began masturbating.

It seems like everyone has interesting stories about figuring out masturbation on their own as kids. Most of them started doing it even before they knew what it was.

I, on the other hand, am the biggest dork in the entire world because I learned to masturbate FROM A BOOK.

That’s right, my mom gave me It’s Perfectly Normal when I was probably 9 or 10, and I read about masturbation (and about how it’s perfectly normal) and then tried to recreate the little cartoon picture that I saw in the book. The picture was of a woman lying on her side with a pillow between her legs.

The pillow thing never worked for me. Have any other girls ever got off on a pillow? Even as a clueless kid, I realized that this was not the proper way to go about doing what I read about, and I figured out how to use my hands. I started doing it all the time. Even though I knew it was supposed to be a sexual thing, I don’t think I found it sexual, or even understood what that meant. In light of the next story, I think I thought of it as fun, comforting, and just something to do with your hands in bed.
